As a warehouse operative, you will be the backbone of our operation, playing a critical role in DPD continuing to deliver outstanding service.Key Duties Include:Loading and unloading, scanning, and sorting parcels with precision and accuracyHandling items up to 25kg (who needs a gym membership when you can keep fit whilst you work!)Using our technology systems to ensure every parcel gets to the right place at the right timeOperating warehouse equipment including scanners, conveyor systems, and handling equipment safely and efficientlyMaintaining high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping throughout the warehouse environmentConducting quality control checks to verify parcel condition and accurate labelling and reporting any discrepancies, damaged items, or system issues to your supervisor promptlyWorking collaboratively with team members to meet daily targets and shift objectivesAdhering to attendance expectations and maintaining reliability throughout your shiftYou'll Receive: Full training from Day 1 and all required uniform and PPEQualificationsWhat You Bring to the TeamThe Hustle: You’ve got a strong work ethic and love hitting targets.Team Player: You love working as part of a close knit supportive team Reliability: You show up and give it 100%.Values: You’re honest, respectful, and care about the service you provide.Physicality: You’re comfortable lifting and staying on your feet.DPD is a Disability Confident Employer and a member of the Valuable 500.
