Job description Job Title: Warehouse Operative Location: Ramsgate, Kent Salary: £25,415 Hours: Monday to Friday 8.00am - 4.30pm Benefits: · 20 days holiday + bank holidays. · Birthday off. · Free on site parking. · Company pension scheme. · Option to work weekends and swap out weekdays. · Option to trade bank holidays for extra annual leave. · Career progression opportunities. Key responsibilities within your new role would be to: · Pick and pack orders efficiently, with a high attention to detail. · Plan your time and track stock levels to ensure all products are produced on time. · Work effectively as part of our team. · Assist the production team with cutting and wicking of materials. · Unload incoming deliveries. · Carry out quality checks on goods going out to customers. · Organise and store goods in the appropriate locations. · Prepare orders for dispatch by securely packing products and labelling parcels. · Assist with the loading of outgoing shipments. · Adhere to all standard operating procedures, instructions, and health and safety policies on site. · Ensure safe operation of equipment on site. · Ensure your work space is tidy and organised at all times · Any other responsibilities that may reasonably be required. Experience and skills required for this position: · Previous experience within a warehouse environment. · Must be computer literate. · Willing to learn new things. · A positive, optimistic, and sociable attitude. · Be punctual, organised, and pro-active. · Have a genuine desire to help people and do good. · Maintain a high level of integrity and always put the needs of our customers/patients first.
