Join the University of South Wales as our Solicitor (Employment & Litigation) Are you an experienced employment lawyer looking for an opportunity to make a real impact within a complex and purpose-driven organisation? The University of South Wales is seeking a Solicitor (Employment & Litigation) to join our Legal Services team within the University Secretary's Office. This is a unique opportunity to work as part of a small, high-performing in-house legal team, advising on a wide range of challenging and rewarding matters that directly support our staff, students and wider university community. What you'll be doing Reporting directly to the General Counsel, you'll provide expert employment law advice across a workforce of approximately 2,000 staff, supporting colleagues on matters including: - Restructures and redundancies - Employment tribunals and dispute resolution - TUPE transfers - Terminations and complex employee relations issues - Management of external legal advisers You'll also have the opportunity to advise on legal and regulatory issues arising from complaints, disciplinary proceedings, equality matters and university governance.
