HR Advisor (Employee Relations)
(9 Month Fixed-Term Contract)
Location: Ideally Manchester (may consider Luton)
Hybrid Working: 3 days in the office, 2 days working from home
Full Time: 37.5 hours per week
We're looking for an experienced HR Advisor (Employee Relations) to join our People Team on a 9-month fixed-term contract.
This is an opportunity for an experienced ER professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys managing complex employee relations matters across a diverse workforce. Working within a collaborative and highly experienced team, you'll provide pragmatic, commercially focused advice to managers and stakeholders across multiple business areas.
What You'll Be Doing
Managing a broad range of Employee Relations cases from start to finish.Advising on disciplinary, grievance, performance, absence management and flexible working matters.Supporting organisational change initiatives, including restructures and redundancy programmes.Providing expert guidance on TUPE transfers and consultation processes.End to end management of ACAS early conciliation cases, including COT3 agreements.Building effective relationships with managers and stakeholders to drive positive employee relations outcomes.Delivering practical, legally compliant advice in line with employment legislation and company policies.Supporting manager capability through coaching and training.
What We're Looking For
This role requires an established Employee Relations professional who is experienced operating at this level.
You'll bring;
Significant experience managing complex Employee Relations casework independently.Strong redundancy experience, including consultation processes and organisational change activities.Practical experience supporting TUPE transfers from planning through to implementation.Excellent knowledge of UK employment legislation.Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.The ability to balance multiple priorities while delivering a high-quality advisory service.CIPD qualification or equivalent practical experience.
Experience supporting multiple worker populations, business units or employment types would be highly advantageous.
