Position Details: Job Title: Health Care Assistant Job Type: Full time hours available from Monday – Friday Location: South East London Salary: £25,000 – £31,000 per annum with an extensive benefits package including personal development opportunities (CPD leave entitlement) plus NHS pension, 5 weeks annual leave + bank holidays, on-site parking and much more. Team: Supported by 9 GPs, 6 Practice Nurses plus a large complement of PCN clinical staff and hard-working admin team. High QOF achievement, Good CQC rating, and Emis Web practice who are very proud of its achievements with quality patient care being their key focus. About You: Experience: Working as a Healthcare Assistant in a GP Practice, Care Certificate or Equivalent, Good General Education to GCSE level and Good level of IT Literacy. Skills: Excellent communication skills, effective time management, ability to work autonomously and as a team member. Personal Qualities: Polite, confident, motivated, forward thinker, problem solver, high levels of integrity and loyalty, sensitive and empathetic. Main Duties: Health Assessments for newly registered patients, NHS Health checks Vaccinations (under instruction of Medical Practioner), Phlebotomy, and Wound Management Assist with Minor Surgery Procedures Participate in stock takes / ordering of supplies.
